What is Prosocial

I just experienced a traumatic event.

For those who have experienced a traumatic event in the last 2-3 months, I offer a free 1-hour consult and debriefing session to allow you to unpack this experience and discuss next steps for receiving mental health care either with Prosocial or elsewhere. Please indicate you are seeking this option when scheduling your consult.

Helping the Helpers

If you are in a helping or service profession (first responders, case workers, social workers, public health, mental health provider, teacher, immigration support, child-welfare, etc) please reach out directly to discuss discounted session rates.

If you are a part of a team with high trauma exposure and are facing high burnout rates, contact me to schedule a workshop or presentation on community care best practices for healthy teams.

My Neighbor Program - Coming soon.

The my neighbor program is a low-cost therapy program offered to those who have lost access to their health insurance but need mental health care. This program is targeted for community members who may have lost Medicaid coverage and/or need interpretation for sessions. Please see “What is Prosocial” to learn more about this program.

Creating a home for everyone.

Prosocial is a welcoming and affirming practice for people of all identities, backgrounds, and lived experiences. I, Lydia, am committed to anti-racism and the work of decolonization to create a safe, equitable space for all. I honor and respect diversity in all its forms—including race, ethnicity, national origin, language, religion, gender identity, sexual orientation, relationship style, ability, age, and body. Your voice is central and will be heard if a concern is raised.
